I thought that when you asked questions on here they would try to help you figured out the answer, i know there not supposed to tell you the answer, but i mean why do some people just say look it up on google? Isn't that kind of defeating the purpose of having a "homework help" website?

In your case, it appeared you had done no research, nor thinking. We will be happy to critique your thinking. Anytime. You would be shocked at the number of answer grazers coming here. So it helps greatly if you say what you are thinking, or specifically what you need help with. In your case, you just posted the homework/or test question, with no comment.

Thanks.

Thank you for your question! While websites like this are intended to provide help and guidance, it is important to understand that the objective is to assist you in finding the answer on your own rather than providing direct answers. The reason why some people recommend searching on Google is that it is a powerful tool that can provide a vast amount of information, making it a valuable resource for finding answers to various questions.

Here's why looking up answers on Google can be helpful:

1. Encourages independent learning: By searching for answers yourself, you have the opportunity to explore different sources, read explanations, and gain a deeper understanding of the topic. It promotes self-reliance and develops research skills.

2. Access to a wide range of information: Google searches can lead you to articles, forums, videos, or academic papers that address the question you have. This broad availability of information allows you to explore different perspectives and sources.

3. Expands your knowledge: Searching on Google often leads to discovering additional information related to the question, which expands your knowledge beyond the initial query.

4. Saves time: Sometimes, the answer you're looking for may already exist on the internet, and finding it through a quick search can save time compared to waiting for a response.

However, it's important to note that Google should be used judiciously and critically evaluate the information found to ensure its accuracy and credibility. If you have trouble understanding the search results or need further clarification, you can always ask a follow-up question that addresses specific points or difficulties you encountered during your search.
