Freshwater Resource Challenge:

aquifer depletion
overdrawing surface water
saltwater intrusion

Ocean Water Resource Challenge:
Flooding (flood)is an overflow of an expanse of water that submerges land, a deluge.
water pollution is the contamination of water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater caused by human activities, which can be harmful to organisms and plants which live in these water bodies.
eutrophication is an increase in chemical nutrients typically compounds containing nitrogen or phosphorus in an ecosystem.

Is that correct so far?

Yes. Aquifer depletion is a freshwater resource challenge.

oops it didn't work so ill try again

Freshwater Resource Challenge:

1 aquifer depletion
2 overdrawing surface water
3 Using up groundwater

Ocean Water Resource Challenge:

1 Flooding (flood),is an overflow of an expanse of water that submerges land, a deluge
2. water pollution, is the contamination of water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater caused by human activities, which can be harmful to organisms and plants which live in these water bodies.
3. eutrophication, is an increase in chemical nutrients -- typically compounds containing nitrogen or phosphorus -- in an ecosystem.

i don't know what Aquifer depletion is?

I don't know what those three mean

1 aquifer depletion
2 overdrawing surface water
3 Using up groundwater

In freshwater resource challenges, aquifer depletion and using up groundwater are basically the same. How about flooding -- as along the Mississippi and other rivers?

Whoa!

Under Ocean water, you've included lakes, rivers, and groundwater. Those are freshwater problems. Number 3, eutrophocation is a major freshwater problem, and doesn't have much effect on salt water.

Google those terms to find out their meanings.

ok so can u plz tell me what each are please i am so confused

each of what i put for ocean water resource challenge is there. the first word is the challenege and the rest is the definition

Freshwater is water that doesn't have salt in it. Freshwater includes, lakes, rivers, and aquifers. Our challenges include

* depletion of aquifers
* pollution of lakes and rivers caused by industrial waste and agricultural chemical runoff
* using more river water, especially in the arid West, than can be replenished
* flooding -- as the Mississippi and other rivers

Oceanwater means the salty water in oceans and seas. Our challeges include:

* flooding of coastal areas, especially during hurricanes and tsunamis
* overfishing
* oil spills
* destruction of coral reefs
* global warming that is melting glaciers -- especially the huge glacier in Greenland recently.

i don't know what to say about the following for descrip.

depletion of aquifers, oils spills, and destruction of coral reefs
