Write a 200- to 300-word response explaining how that physiological process differs

among the following organisms:
o Bacteria
o Grasshopper
o Fish
o Bear
i chose gets rid of waste my answer is as follows

Bacteria would get rid of waste by passing it through its cell membrane. It passes through it as a liquid.
A grasshopper would get rid of waste by taking a breath and by urinating and by having a bowel movement. Although, grasshopper release urine and stolid waste all at once like birds.
Bears release waste some what like a grasshopper, because they both release waste when they take a breath. However, unlike the grasshopper they do not release solid and liquid all at once. Bears can choose to one or the other.
Fish release waste some what like the bear and the grasshopper, because they both release solid waste through their anus. Fish however release urine every time they breath.
thanks a bunch

It is ok, brief. I wonder if the teacher had something as brief as this on her mind.

i just wanted to make sure i was on the right track.

thank you,
amy

omg that is to funny i laughed till i cried. way to funny

how does one cite this in APA form.

thankyou very much!i checked on every website i till i came upon this site and it completed my task!!!

Hey what did u guys use for refernces?

I'll break down the physiological process of waste elimination for each organism you mentioned: bacteria, grasshopper, fish, and bear.

Bacteria have a relatively simple structure, lacking specialized organs or systems. They eliminate waste by a process called diffusion. They pass waste materials through their cell membrane, usually in the form of liquid waste.

Grasshoppers, being insects, have a more complex digestive and excretory system. They eliminate waste through multiple methods. Firstly, they release liquid waste, called urine, which is excreted through openings called spiracles. Grasshoppers also eliminate solid waste through their anus during bowel movements. Similar to birds, grasshoppers release both urine and solid waste at the same time.

Fish have a unique excretory system. They eliminate solid waste through their anus, similar to other animals. However, fish also excrete urine through a specialized structure called the gills. Every time they extract oxygen from the water, they eliminate urine at the same time.

Bears have a more similar waste elimination process to that of a grasshopper. They eliminate waste when they take a breath, as they release carbon dioxide through respiration. However, unlike grasshoppers, bears have some control over whether they release solid waste or liquid waste. They can choose to urinate or defecate separately.

In summary, bacteria eliminate waste through their cell membrane, while grasshoppers, fish, and bears have more complex excretory systems that involve urine and solid waste elimination processes. It's essential to note that the specific mechanisms can differ within each organism group or even among different species within each group.
