One interesting issue to me (science) was the problem of pollution of drinking water due to sewage. Folks needed both, but crowding into cities with both sewage pits and wells didn't mix well. As a result, sewage piping (carrying the sewage to a river) developed, finally leading to central water systems, and sewage treatment plants.

thanks so much to both of you i finally finished my Homework!(:

You're very welcome. Yay! Your homework is finished for tonight. Please come back again.

ha(: thank god! it was hardd;

No need to apologize! I'm here to help you understand. The Industrial Age had a significant impact on population size through various factors, including changes in food production methods. During the Industrial Age, there were several developments that influenced population growth.

1. Agricultural Revolution: The Industrial Age saw advancements in agriculture, such as the introduction of new farming techniques, better tools, and the adoption of mechanization. These innovations led to increased agricultural productivity, resulting in a surplus of food. As a result, people had more access to food, leading to better nutrition and increased population growth.

2. Urbanization: The Industrial Age marked a shift in society from agrarian to urban living. The growth of industries attracted workers from rural areas to cities, seeking employment opportunities. Consequently, the population in urban areas increased rapidly due to migration. Urbanization also fueled population growth as urban areas provided better healthcare, education, and other facilities, leading to higher birth rates and reduced mortality rates.

3. Medical Advancements: The Industrial Age witnessed advancements in medical knowledge and healthcare practices. Improvements in sanitation, hygiene, and the development of vaccines and antibiotics reduced the prevalence of diseases and increased life expectancy. As a result, the population size grew significantly.

To summarize, the Industrial Age impacted population size through increased agricultural productivity, urbanization, and medical advancements, leading to better nutrition, migration to cities, and improved healthcare, all contributing to population growth.
