the volume of any solid, liquid,or gas will change with?

i'm not sure on this one but i don't think the volume ever changes, just the form that it is in.

I would say temperature because increasing temperature would cause molecules speed up and increase volume and decreasing temperature usually decreases molecular speed and causes volume to decrease (except for water)

The volume of a solid, liquid, or gas can change under certain conditions. The change in volume is primarily affected by two factors: temperature and pressure.

1. Temperature: Increasing the temperature of a substance generally causes its volume to expand or increase. This occurs because when substances are heated, the particles within them gain energy and move more vigorously, occupying a larger space. Cooling a substance, on the other hand, generally causes its volume to contract or decrease.

2. Pressure: Changing the pressure exerted on a substance can also affect its volume. Increasing the pressure generally compresses the substance and decreases its volume. Decreasing the pressure allows the substance to expand and increases its volume.

It is important to note that different substances may have unique responses to changes in temperature and pressure. For example, while most substances expand when heated, water behaves differently as its volume decreases upon freezing.
