4x9/6-3

i know that after the division part there is going to be a remainder so how do i work the remainder into my BEDMAS ?

1st its pemdas

2nd this is how to solve it:
4*9/6-3
4*9=36 so your left with
36/6-3
36/6=6 so now your left with
6-3 which=3
so 3 is the answer

B:brackets
E:exponents
D:division
M:multiplication
A:addition
S:subtraction

To solve this expression using BEDMAS (also known as PEMDAS), which stands for Brackets, Exponents, Division and Multiplication (from left to right), and Addition and Subtraction (from left to right), follow these steps:

1. Begin with the division operation. Evaluate 4 divided by 6, which equals 0.67 (rounded to two decimal places). The remainder is not taken into account at this stage.

2. Next, multiply the result from step 1 by 9. Multiply 0.67 by 9 to get 6.03 (rounded to two decimal places).

3. Finally, subtract 3 from the product obtained in step 2. So, 6.03 minus 3 equals 3.03 (rounded to two decimal places).

To incorporate the remainder into your BEDMAS calculation, you would typically express the result as a mixed number or a fraction. However, in this case, since 4 divided by 6 does not result in a whole number quotient, it is more appropriate to leave the answer as a decimal, which is 3.03.
