Graph equation by plotting points x=2

Can't do graphs.

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum, BUT, please do not call this "Confused." Call it "Graphing" or "Math" or whatever class it is for. Most of the volunteers are looking for a certain area and probably wouldn't even look at "Confused."

If you are graphing only x = 2, it will give you a vertical line at the value if 2 for x.

I hope this helps a little more. Thanks for asking.

To graph the equation x = 2, which is a vertical line passing through the point (2,0), you can follow these steps:

1. Draw x and y axes on a coordinate plane.
2. Label the x-axis with increments, starting from a suitable negative value to a suitable positive value.
3. Label the y-axis with increments, starting from a suitable negative value to a suitable positive value.
4. Plot the point (2,0) on the graph by locating the x-coordinate of 2 on the x-axis and the y-coordinate of 0 on the y-axis. This is the point where the line intersects the x-axis.
5. Draw a straight vertical line passing through the point (2,0).

By following these steps, you have successfully graphed the equation x = 2.
