Social Sciences Sociology Marriage and Family Institutions
how would u compare marriage and family institutions in the USA to those in Africa?
I would compare them as economic units, and social units. You could do it by function, such as child rearing, hunting, gathering, etc, but economic and social are probably going to be the best comparison. Caution: generalization about family and marriage in Africa and in the USA is dangerous, there are many variations within the USA and in Africa.
