a chord is when you play 3 or more notes together. Say, C,E,G. This is the 'C' chord. I cant really show you how to play it, but ill have a go....

KEYBOARD:

A A# B B# c C# D D# e E# F F# g G#

the lower case letters are the ones that you play for a 'c' chord.
Try and imagine the #s are the small black keys.
Hope this helps... or am i a few years too late!!! lol x

Of course! I'd be happy to help you understand what a musical chord is and provide an example of how to play it.

A musical chord is a combination of three or more notes that are played simultaneously, creating harmony. Chords are the building blocks of music and are used to accompany melodies or be the main focus of a song.

To play a musical chord, you need to know the musical alphabet, which consists of the notes A to G. Each note can be played on different instruments, such as a piano, guitar, or even a ukulele.

Let's take an example of a simple chord on a piano. One common chord to start with is the C major chord. To play the C major chord on a piano, follow these steps:

1. Locate the C note on the piano keyboard. It's the white key immediately to the left of the set of two black keys.
2. Skip two keys and place your middle finger on the next white key, which is the E note.
3. Skip another two keys and place your pinky finger on the next white key, which is the G note.
4. Press all three keys down simultaneously.
5. Strum or play the keys from left to right with your fingers or a pick.

When you play these three notes together (C, E, and G), you're playing the C major chord. It has a pleasant and stable sound, commonly heard in many songs.

Remember, this is just one example of a musical chord. There are countless other chords and variations to explore on different instruments. By combining different notes, you can create various chords with different moods and characteristics.
