How to find the decimal equivalent of the mixed number and the mixed number is

4 2/5

• Math -

4 2/5 = 22/5.
Now divide 22 by 5.
I get 4.4

Another way to do the same thing is to write the whole number of 4, then divide 2 by 5 (to get 0.4), then add 4 + 0.4 = 4.4.
