I'm doing a report on the red panda, and I have to explain why the organism is classified in that group. The red panda's species is fulgens, but I'm not sure how to explain why its species is fulgens.

Also, are there any other organisms in the Genus Ailurus, the same as the red panda?

Thanks much!
