The Torah, which translates to "instruction" or "teaching," is the most significant part for Jewish faith and contains the Five Books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. These books serve as the foundation for Jewish beliefs and contain the commandments, laws, stories, and teachings given to Moses by God. The other two sections, Nevi'im (Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings), consist of historical accounts, prophetic writings, wisdom literature, and psalms. However, it is primarily the Torah that forms the core of Jewish religious beliefs and practices.
