Simplify:

(x^5)(x^pi)

Answer:
x^5+pi
x=8.14

Round to 4 decimal places if necessary:
(1/5)^t-2 = 125

(5^-1)^t-2=125
5^-t+2=5^3
-t+2=3
-t=1
t= -1

    I think you mean
    x^5+pi
    x^8.14

    careful about parentheses when typing (but I agree anyway)

    (5^-1)^(t-2)=125
    5^(-t+2)=5^3
    -t+2=3
    -t=1
    t= -1
