what do the phrases "Je veux me battre" and "voulu mettre ton destin à genou" (there not related).?

Je veux me battre = I wish/want to fight myself and voulu mettre ton testin à genou is taken out of context but as it stands it means "wished to put your destiny/fate to your knees.
Actually if you can write the entire sentences in context (exacly how they are used) or tell us what you are reading (Author/Test) we have a far btter chance of catching the nuances of them.
