Math History

I need to know the history of integers for a test tomorrow. I have searched numerous history and math sites, but none tell a specific person. Does any one know who it is or where I can find this information?

The reason your research hasn't produced a specific person is that if there was a certain person who first devised integers some 5,000 years ago, his name was not recorded. What is far more likely is that integers were developed by many people over a long period of time.
