is it the l4th amendment or 19th amendment that granted women the right to vote?

I say it's the 19th. My daughter says its the 14th.
We have tried to google it and are confused.
thx for your help

The 14th amendment had to do with civil rights after slavery ended. The 19th amendment permitted women to vote in all states. Although first proposed in 1868, it was not passed and ratified until 1920. There were some states where women were already voting at that time.

The amendment that granted women the right to vote in the United States is indeed the 19th Amendment. To avoid confusion, here is an explanation of how you can find the answer using Google:

1. Open a web browser and go to www.google.com.
2. Type "amendment that granted women the right to vote" in the search bar.
3. Google will display search results related to the query.
4. The first link should provide a brief summary of the amendment that granted women suffrage.
5. Click on that link, which will redirect you to a page providing more detailed information about the 19th Amendment.
6. On that page, you will learn that it was ratified on August 18, 1920, and granted women the right to vote.

In summary, after conducting a Google search, you will find that the 19th Amendment is the correct answer to your question.
