I need to choose a woman who i could write a research paper on. It would be good if it is a topic i liked. For me that would be humanitarians, environmentalists, and animal rights leaders or anything to do with volunteering. And they have to be from the 19th-21st century

Thanks....i will check back after researching some more

Here are my suggestions:

Eleanor Roosevelt
Mother Teresa
Sojourner Truth
Jane Addams
Rosa Parks
Clara Barton

Please check back as other teachers will probably add their lists.

Rachel Carson would also be a good person to research and write about.

To find a suitable woman to write a research paper on, you can follow these steps:

1. Start by narrowing down your focus to the areas you mentioned: humanitarians, environmentalists, animal rights leaders, and volunteering.

2. Research and compile a list of notable figures in these fields from the 19th-21st century. Use reliable sources such as books, scholarly articles, and trusted websites.

3. Evaluate the prominence and impact of each woman on your list. Look for individuals who have made significant contributions, achieved notable successes, or have been influential in their respective fields.

4. Consider your personal interests and passions. Look for a woman whose work resonates with you and aligns with your research topic. Explore their background, achievements, and the impact they have had on society.

5. Read biographies, interviews, speeches, or any publications related to your chosen woman. This will provide you with a deeper understanding of her work, beliefs, motivations, and the context in which she operated.

6. Ensure there is enough information available for your research. Access to primary sources, credible secondary sources, and other relevant materials can be helpful in constructing a comprehensive research paper.

7. Compare and contrast the women on your list, considering their significance, the breadth and depth of their work, and the availability of literature on them.

8. Finally, choose a woman who fulfills your criteria, aligns with your interests, and provides you with ample research material to write a well-rounded research paper.

Remember, research is an iterative process, so the more you explore and delve into the lives and achievements of different women, the better understanding you'll have to make an informed and engaging topic choice. Good luck with your research!
