I just wanted to get some clarification on analyzing a balance sheet.

a)Accounts payable and accrued liabilities at the beginning of 2004

Values: As at (April 23, 2004) - 7,466 or As at (April 25, 2003) - 12,461

Which value is considered the beginning of 2004?
