Make this into a trinomial square and solve for x.

4.6x=54-x^2

  • Algebra -

    add x^2 to both sides
    x^2 + 4.6 x = 54
    add -54 to both sides
    x^2 + 4.6 x -54 = 0
    (x-5.4)(x+10) = 0
