I need two articles detailing community service programs in any two public schools. I can find schools that onclude these sorts of programs, but they never give information on what sorts of projects they need to perform, the number of hours, or other details. Can you reccomend any sites? I have a short amount of time on the computer, and, according to my mom, after this evening I cannot work anymore on it and have to turn in whatever I have written in a few weeks, complete or not. I'd like it to be complete, so I'd appreciate response fairly soon.

There is a site on the Clark-Pleasant Academy, which is an alternative-type school in Whiteland, Indiana (and a part of Whiteland High School). Students there must volunteer 2.5 hours a week and can do so at a variety of places such as a retirement home, another school, a food pantry, etc. You willl find the sire if you go to cpcsc.k12.in.us Go to academy, then programs, then to volunteer opportunities. Hope this is helpful.

Good luck!

Thanks! I got all the information I needed.

Thanks! That site was helpful.

Certainly! Here are a few websites where you can find articles detailing community service programs in public schools:

1. Education Week (www.edweek.org): Education Week often covers various aspects of education, including community service programs in schools. You can use their search function to look for articles specifically related to community service programs.

2. National Service-Learning Clearinghouse (www.servicelearning.org): This website provides a wealth of resources and information on service-learning programs in schools. They have a database of articles and research papers that you can search through to find relevant information.

3. School District Websites: Look for the websites of specific school districts in your area or any other area of interest. Many school district websites feature articles or newsletters that highlight community service programs taking place in their schools.

To quickly find articles on these websites, follow these steps:

1. Visit the respective website mentioned above.
2. Look for a search bar or a search function on the website.
3. Type in keywords like "community service programs," "service learning," or "volunteer programs" along with "public schools" to narrow down your search.
4. Review the search results for articles that provide the information you're looking for, such as details about projects, hours, or other program specifics.

Remember to take notes or bookmark the articles you find so that you can refer back to them later when you're ready to write. Good luck with your research and writing!
