From an investor’s viewpoint, what would be your reaction to purchasing or holding bonds?"
If I were seeking low-risk/no-risk investments, high-grade bonds would be the way to go. But, since bonds increase little if any in value, they are not good hedges against inflation. Their value is in the relatively high dividends they pay.
