if i define philosophy as an "Investigation of the nature, causes, or principles of reality, knowledge, or values, based on logical reasoning rather than empirical methods"

what should i answer for the next question, such as "evaluate a definition of philosophy"?

    Evaluate means to explain the parts of whatever you're examining and then come to a conclusion about whether you think it's correct or not ... giving your reasons, of course!
