English-A Raisin in the Sun

posted by .

In the book A Raisin in the Sun, what do you think about George Murchison? Is he a good match for Beneatha? Why/ why not? Please check my answer:
Is this correct: I think George is a very privileged person. He's very lucky. He's finacially well-off. I don't think he's a good match for Bennie because they disagree upon too many things. It's not a healthy relationship.

"Beneatha dislikes his willingness to submit to white culture and forget his African heritage. He challenges the thoughts and feelings of other black people through his arrogance and flair for intellectual competition."
