Multiply and simplify 2/3*13

The answer is 22. Right?

if you mean

(2/3) * 13

or

2 / (3*13)

i believe according to both your answer is wrong

Is that (2/3)*13? If so, then (2*13)/3= something other than 22. Or if it is
2/(3*13) = it is not 22. Show your work and perhaps we can find your error.

Do you remember how to multiply fractions? It's the easiest process of all the fraction processes! Just multiply across. So ...

2/3 x 13/1 = ??

Please repost and let us know what you get.

=)

I'm sorry I meant 2/3*33= 66/3 or 22.
The answer to 2/3*13 would be 26/3 or
8 2/3. Right?

right -- on both problems

2/3 1.8 Solve for unknown
---- = ----
10 r

2/3 over 10 equals 1.8/r solve for r. this is how the question is posed.

To solve for the unknown variable r, we can cross multiply. Cross multiplying means multiplying the numerator of the first fraction with the denominator of the second fraction, and vice versa. In this case, we have:

(2/3) * r = (1.8) * 10

To simplify, we can multiply 1.8 by 10 to get 18. Now we have:

(2/3) * r = 18

Next, we want to isolate r. To do that, we can multiply both sides of the equation by the reciprocal of (2/3), which is (3/2). This gives us:

r = 18 * (3/2)

Multiplying 18 by 3 and dividing by 2, we get:

r = 54/2

Simplifying the fraction, we get:

r = 27

Therefore, the value of the unknown variable r is 27.
