Do dogss eat rodents, fish, and rabbits?

This is a school project.
Someone help me PLZ!!!!

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. Since dogs are carnivors, yes they could. However it's my cat that catches rodents and leaves the headless "gifts" at my door!

Please see the answer to your question at your other name right below.

Thanks.

that's funny. Thanks anyways.

You may need to think of dogs more widely as the family Canidae, rather than just the pets and what they eat. There are a number of species which include the wolf. Does this help?

UHM I DONT KNOW IM SORRY

Yes, that's a good point. When we talk about dogs as a species, they belong to the family Canidae, which also includes wolves, foxes, and other related animals. Wolves, in particular, are known to be carnivores and have a diet that includes rodents, fish, and rabbits. So, in that sense, dogs are capable of eating these animals as well. However, it's important to note that the diet of domesticated dogs can vary depending on their specific breed and the type of food they are provided by their owners. Some dogs may primarily eat commercial dog food, while others may still have the instinct to hunt and consume small animals like rodents, fish, and rabbits if given the opportunity.
