There are 39 books in the Old Testament an 27 books in the New Testament. Write a ratio in lowest terms to compare the number of books in the Old Testament to the number in the New Testament.

I don't quite remember how to do ratios, could someone please help?

A ratio is a fraction on one number divided by the other. In this case,

Old/New = 39/27 = 13/9

I believe it's 13:9
I think u will have 2 divide both of them so that u get 13 as numerator and 9 as denominator. They can't be further divided. Then write them in the ratio form.u will get 13:9
I learnt it long before. So I am not sure.Just try

thanks alot!

You're welcome! And yes, you're correct. The ratio is 13:9, which means that for every 13 books in the Old Testament, there are 9 books in the New Testament. And since 13 and 9 cannot be divided further, the ratio is already in its lowest terms.
