D. 12 oz for $5.09

answer C

please let me know if i missed any these so i can go back over to see where i messed up thanks

For number 8 I think the formula is supposed to be A=1/2 x base x height, not A=LxW

Thank you so much

#2 is 8/21 The question is not how much time did you spend, but how much time remains.

#8 is correct. A = LxW

Question 11 does not make sense. How can you take 1 student and get 5 of them from that one? I ASSUME they mean 1 out of every 5 students. In which case, you take the # of students and divide it by 5.

The rest look good. :)

Write a proportion that is equivalent to the statement: If 3 gallons of gasoline cost $5.37, then 8 gallons will cost $14.32.

3 gallons = 8 gallons

---------- ---------
$ 5.37 $ 14.32

How would you answer this: 5/a=?/a2to the second power.

3 gallons/$5.37 = 8 gallons/$14.32

Is correct!!!

how did you the answer to number 5

what is the mean and mode of numbers 20 13 19 12 4 11 19 14?

Great job on answering the questions! It seems like you only missed a few. Let's go over the corrections:

For question 2, it asks for the fraction of study time that remains, not the fraction of time spent. You spent 1/3 + 2/7 = 13/21 of your study time on math and history. So, the fraction of study time that remains is 1 - 13/21 = 8/21.

For question 8, you are correct that the formula for the area of a triangle is A = 1/2 x base x height. So, in this case, the area would be A = 1/2 x 13 ft x 6 ft = 78 ft^2.

For question 11, the statement is a bit confusing. Assuming it means that approximately 1 out of every 5 students at Kenda college lives on campus, you can find the number of students who live on campus by taking 1/5 of the total number of students. Since the college has 5,000 students, the number of students who live on campus would be 5,000 / 5 = 1,000 students.

And for question 12, your answer C is correct. It gives you the most amount of cashews for the best price.

So overall, you did a great job! Just make sure to pay attention to the wording of the questions and double-check your calculations. Keep up the good work!
