Calculate the engine thrust required to produce an acceleration of 4 m/s^-2 in a jet of mass 800 kg as it takes off along the runway. The air resistance is 500 N.

I used F - R = ma
F - R = 800 x 4
F - 500 = 3200
Thrust = 3700
Appreciate if anyone can check my answer, if wrong, can they point me in the right direction.
TIA

Your answer is correct, but you should have written down the units (N) after the 3700.

Thanks for that.

which part of an atom emits gamma rays

The part of an atom that emits gamma rays is the nucleus. Gamma rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation that is emitted from the nucleus of an atom during certain nuclear processes, such as radioactive decay or nuclear reactions. These high-energy photons have the shortest wavelength and highest frequency in the electromagnetic spectrum.
