Why did people hate Julius Ceasar so much?

One of my answers was plain jealousy, that they could not achieve as much as he had.

Could you give some more examples?

    I kno why they hated him its becaus the didn't like his way of governing and the way he kept the people undercontrol the people also dint like the acts being passed for example the Intolerable Acts.
