During my four years in high school, I have taken a lots of classes to prepare for college. As I took ELD classes ( English Language Development ) during my freshman and sophomore year, I realized that I could not meet the college's requirement. So in my senior year, I decided to take two English classes which American Lite. and Senior English Seminar. Beside taking two English classes, I also took two classes of math during my junior years, which Geometry honor and Algebra 2. My friends told me that taking two English classes or two math classes in the same year is very hard. But when I think of my future, I feel that everything I have done and doing right now are meaningful. Besides the reason I mentioned above, there is another reason that I took two math classes last year. Because math is my favorite subject since I was in elementary school. I want to challenge myself by taking higher level math. When I was still a freshman, I always wish I can get into advance placement Calculus, which I am taking right now. At that time, this dream seems like impossible to me, because I was taking pre-Algebra. But the result tells me that my effort and perseverance did not waste.

During high school, I took several classes to prepare for college. However, I realized during my freshman and sophomore years that my English skills were not meeting the requirements for college. As a result, in my senior year, I decided to take two English classes: one in American Literature and another in Senior English Seminar. I also took two math classes during my junior year, specifically Honors Geometry and Algebra 2.

Some of my friends warned me that taking two English or math classes in the same year would be challenging. However, when I think about my future, I believe that everything I have done and continue to do is meaningful. Taking the extra English classes was important to improve my language skills, and taking the higher level math classes was a personal challenge because math has always been my favorite subject since elementary school.

When I was still a freshman, I aspired to take Advanced Placement Calculus, and now I am enrolled in the course. Back then, this dream seemed impossible since I was only taking pre-Algebra. However, the outcome proves that my efforts and perseverance were not in vain.
