why are dogs better than cats? many opins needed!

I dunno. They're more active. More playful. Not afraid to get dirty.

ANything specific that you need?

Dogs are loyal and more fun, they're always excited to see you when you come home from college. they also help to keep you fit by taking them out for walks. cats are arogant and only come to see you for food, they do their own thing.

It really depends on the person. But to me dogs are more my type, because like xana said they're more active. Cats tends to be a bit more lazy.

Interesting stuff here!

=)

I prefer cats. They clean themselves so you don't have to. You can take a cat for a walk if you want to, but I don't Cats are more independent. That isn't a bad thing. They would survive in the wild better than a dog. Dogs smell bad. You have to bathe them. They also get worms and more illnesses than cats. Cat's are not lazy and they don't just come for food. Mine sleep on my bed and are very playful.

Frankly I have both. The vet told me cats are "low maintenance" animals. Not MY cat! Dogs will not jump up on the table, knock everything over and push small gifts under the refrigerator, stove, etc. Dogs will not jump up on the desk when you are doing financial papers and send them flying all over the room, nor will they swat you in the mouth with their tails while you are talking on the phone. Dogs will not walk across your keyboard while you are typing. Shall I go on? This is my experience with 3 dogs and only 1 cat!

Dogs are better than cats because they are more affectionate and enthusiastic.

Dogs are often seen as more excited to see their owners and are known to be good companions during physical activities such as walks, which can help keep their owners fit.
