A block with mass 35kg rests on an incline

13 degrees to the horizontal calculate the : (a) perpendicular weight component (Fc) on the inclined plane;
(b) parrallel weight component (Fs) on the inclined plane..

This is the question exactly out of the book nwo what shoud i do and how?

Hi Michelle, I hope you are still there.
For this type of problem, you need to set up similar triangles. I wish I could show you how to do that, but can't draw them here. Anyway, after you set up the triangle, the Fc ends up being (Fw)cos theta.
Where Fw is the weight of the object, and theta is the angle.
Fs ends up being (Fx)sin theta. I hope this explains it.

THANX ALOT.
