by Nikki Doley
I think that Richard the lionheart was a famous historical character because he was very courageous and had many knightly accomplishments. He was also a poet and became the hero of many legendary tales. But he is also famous for his bad things such as when he left the country he left it in charge of ministers but England still suffered heavy taxes that helped the funding for his expeditions.
