Slovakia's chief industries are iron, steal, glass, chemicals, coal, and plastics. Slovakia's chief industries are grains, potatoes, hops, and fruit. Slovakia has a labor force of 33% industrial and 12% agricultural.

Slovakia has a republic government. The head of the state in 1995 was President Michal Kovac. Slovakia's head of government in 1995 was Prime Minister Vaidimir.
