That's the problem. You see, if it had said how many kids or how many girls there are, that would have helped. I copied the problem word for word, so that's all there is. Maybe my teacher messed up and forgot some info. Thanks for helping! :)

This isn't a question. This is a statement, telling you why a solution to a word problem should be checked to the original wording of the problem versus the equation written for the problem. This is because the equation, derived from the wording of the problem, could be wrong.

I didn't see how to turn that problem into a word problem on that page. Doesn't mean it's not there, I just didn't see it. She knows how to multiply the problem, it's coming up with a word problem that she can't see out of it. :)
