What is the difference between the median and the range in the data set shown below?

1,5,6,6,10,9,5,3,11,12,10,2,6,13,8,9

A. 5
B. 4.75
C. 1
D. 0.25

The answer is C.

Median: The highest number which is 13.

Range: 13 Because count 7 behind 3 and 11, so both 3 and 11 are in the middle. Then add both of them which equals 14.

Subtract 14 - 13 = 1!
So hopefully this helps and have a wonderful day :)

(Btw If I made an error pls let me know)!

Oops for the range I meant 14

Yes

2022 baby! 😝

Thank you so much!

NO, HANG ON !!!!!

Google median
Google range !

wait i got it wrong...

it's okay

in a list you have

1
3
5,5
6,6,6
8
9 , 9
10 , 10
11
12
13

That is a total of16 numbers
8 are below 7 and 8 are above 7 so I would say the median is around 7
the range is the top one minus the bottom one 13 - 1 = 12
12 - 7 = 5

I am no expert but I am sure Coco is way off.
