Choose a selection from the crossing borders unit. Write a short explanation of how one of the individuals in this selection is affected by a border crossing. Use specific examples or details to support your answer.
are you a student at Connections Academy?
Don't listen to Angel. Listen to Stitch and Hugh. The story doesn't follow Laetitia but her brother and mother. The question was "Write a short explanation of how one of the individuals in this selection is affected by a border crossing".
Laetitia was not affected because the story did not show that.
Laetitia leaves her home because she is bored there not because of her boyfriend. Her mother is affected because she prides being Blackfoot.
Her mother can't pass the border because the guard is asking her citizenship and they only allow American or Canadian. They only allow Laetitia's mother to pass because there is a network van broadcasting what's going on at the border patrol.
You can get why they let her mother pass.
you can cheat
you just gotta know how to cheat well
man i just want an answer
I am begging you don't listen to angel Laetitia and her boyfriend broke up but she still went to Salt Lake City that story does not follow her but her mother and little brother who are trying to visit her however they got stuck between the borders because of the mothers pride, so I don't know what story angel read but it was not a story from this selection
oh well im about to fail this

A very significant passage that can be quoted is:
"As an immigrant, there had never, for me, been a place which I inhabited and felt comfortable (happy?) enough to call home. Life had always been moving around in search of another opportunity, in search of another community."
What is the impact of this passage on the book?
Show the discomfort of immigrants.
Show how immigrants feel displaced.
Show a lack of sense of belonging.
Show how immigration affects people's psyche.
We can say that the sentence shows how the difficulties of immigrants go beyond the difficulty of adaptation. Immigrants feel out of place and feel that they have to look for opportunities all the time.
This impacts the characters by showing that they will never be accepted and that their search for harmony and quality of life will never end.
nobody is affected
What book do i read for the answer
These answers are wrong and you will be caught cheating. The teachers know all these answers.

Ok since all of you are dumb just read any of the books in the unit tell me which one you chose and I will write you an essay/paragraph
(don’t expect me to get back to you right away might be a day or two, and please for the love of my sanity please don’t copy and paste what I write for you change it up and by change it up I mean don’t alter 1 or two words and call it a day) also I might not be able to get to everyone who asks but I will try.
