Question: A square painting measures 2 meters on each side, what is the area of the painting in square centimeters?
40,000 my teacher said so
i dont get it how does this help? there is so many different answers people are saying :)
Recall that area of square is length of a side multiplied by itself, or
A = s^2
We can first convert 2 m to cm. One meter is equivalent to 100 cm, therefore,
2 m = 200 cm
Substituting,
A = s^2
A = 200^2
A = 40000 cm^2
Hope this helps~ :3
how dose this help! this stuff makes noooooooo sense
this actually makes no sense so ya bye bye
I need help no one is helping
2 m = 200 cm (since 1 m = 100 cm)
The area in cm^2 is:
A = 200*200
A = 40,000 cm^2
The area of the painting in square centimeters is 40,000 cm^2.
wait I just realized that y'all answered in 2017 but in my time its 2022
Guys it's 40,000, trust me, this is reliable.
it is not 400 hunder it is rong
it is wonge
It’s 400 lol
Its 400 because, 2 x 2 = 4 meters. 4 meters = 400 centimeters.
4, because 2 squared = 4
how does that help?
