Soggy is correct.

SOGGY WAFFLES IS CORRECT! I just took it

Soggy is correct!!!!! If you go to connections.

I have tried many surface area equations, and this is the only one that worked.

SA = 2ab + 2bc + 2ac - (a is 14, b is 10, and c is 8.)

= (2*14*10) + (2*10*8) + (2*14*8)

= 280 + 160 + 224

= 664

The equation that I used is for a rectangular prism.

I was only doing equations for prisms, and this is the only one that worked.

I hope this helps? :)

P.S. I am sorry if this could be wrong. I have been trying for quite a while. If this is wrong, I think you should ask your teacher about it.

all you guys are making people confused saying of this person is correct and oh no this person is wrong. Your here to help each other pass school. So stop lying and tell the truth.

Surface Areas of Prisms and Cylinders

Multiple Choice
1. Find the surface area for the given prism.

A yellow rectangular prism with height of 8 inches, width of 14 inches, and depth of 10 inches. (1 point)
564 in2
664 in2
1,120 in2
1,080 in2
2. Use the net to find the surface area of the cylinder.

A cylinder is shown with a top radius of 3 meters and height between bases of 13 meters.
The net of the cylinder shows a circle with a radius of 3 meters on top of a rectangle with a width of 13 meters which is on top of a second circle with a radius of 3 meters. (1 point)
about 273 m2
about 179 m2
about 302 m2
about 151 m2
3. Use a formula to find the surface area of the cylinder to the nearest whole unit.

The cylinder has a top radius of 12 feet and a height between bases of 20 feet. (1 point)
1,206 ft2
2,413 ft2
1,960 ft2
1,659 ft2
4. Find the lateral area for the given cylinder. Use 3.14 for pi and round to the nearest whole number.

A blue cylinder prism with radius 6 yards and height 24 yards. (1 point)
144 yd2
288 yd2
2,712 yd2
904 yd2
5. Find the surface area for the following net.

A net of a shape is shown.· Three rectangles are shown side by side with their longer sides adjoining.
· The longer side of the rectangle to the right of the center rectangle is labeled as 10 centimeters.
· Two triangles are shown. One is on the top of and one is on the bottom of the center rectangle so that the bases of the triangles are the shorter sides of the center rectangle.
· The shorter side of the center rectangle is labeled as 6 centimeters.
· A dotted line is drawn down the middle of the triangle and is labeled as 4 centimeters.
· One of the legs of the triangle drawn on the bottom of the center rectangle is labeled as 5 centimeters.
· The shorter side of the rectangle to the right of the center rectangle is labeled as 5 centimeters. (1 point)

Your description is not clear.

A square prism has two ends that are squares, basically a box.

You say: the base is 14 in
Do you mean each side of the square base is 14 inches?

then you say: the perimeter is 8 inches.
The perimeter of what?
And then it says: the height is 10 inches
No matter which way I wrap a string around the box, (the perimeter) , I can't get 8 inches.

none of this makes sense to me

listen to bunny!!

1.B- 644 in

2.C- about 302m
3.B- 2,413 ft
4.D- 904 yd
5.A- 184 cm
100% right, i will NEVER post incorrect answers
Good Luck!!
