I don`t get this question: A flagpole casts a shadow 32 feet long. If a man 6 feet tall casts a shadow 8 feet long at the same time and location, how tall is the flagpole?
Set up a proportion.
flagpole height: shadow height = man height : shadow height
x/32 = 6/8
I know I did but it gives me 1.5 and I know that u have to move the place value and it becomes 15 but that answer is already chosen from another problem that I just did and it can only be repeated once not twice how else can I write my answer to make it different instead of writing 15 what is another way to write it????
