A man manages to climb the tallest mountain, however when he reaches the top he is greeted by two gods. One introduces himself as the god of truth, the other as the god of lies. In unison, they state that to get off the mountain alive, you have to present to them a statement. However, if the statement speaks the truth, the truth god will kill you. If the statement speaks lies, the lying god will kill you. What do you say?

Hmm... are you sure this is a riddle on English?
I was under the impression this is a variation on the classic logic puzzle. And just to be clear, I haven't seen this one before, but anyway, here is my answer: to get off the mountain alive, the solution would be to lie, since the god of lies is "lying", it (yes, my pronoun of choice for a god is "it") would *not* really kill you if you spoke a lie.
