Net Riddle: math

This is definitely a riddle of English, not math, with very bad grammar, which I absolutely HATE.

For RPG fans, there are two similar ones with equally bad grammar/organization of language in Baldur's Gate II. The brother and sister riddle combines math with bad English to form a riddle that just completely lost me. The other puzzle on names which is found in a certain note from a quest also seems to have some problems with its design. I followed the words to solve halfway just fine, but the other half didn't make any sense even when I found out the answer.
(If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I greatly welcome an explanation.)

And yes, I agree the answer to this riddle is "Sunday".
