I hae read this question over and over and I don't understand it at all. There is a question for (i) and that can be answered rather easily but there is no question for (ii). There is only a statement.

there is a mark on the protractor at the center of the base. Place that mark on the angle, with the base of the protractor aligned with one ray of the angle. The other ray (maybe extended) will intersect the curve of the protractor, where you can read off the angle.
