  1. sit up straight
  2. pay attention to the teacher
  3. sing loud
  4. don't chew gum
  5. open your mouth wide
  6. aim for singing the vowels
  7. breathe with your chest
  8. don't breathe with your shoulders!
  9. don't eat fatty foods before singing - it can change the pitch at which you wish to sing!
  10. if you have to sing a high note think high
  11. set yourself to hit the note from the top instead of dead on
  12. sing from your chest but no your throat
  13. avoid dairy foods and chocolate before singing because it will give you tons of mucus
  14. drink lots of water
  15. when you sing, sing with the back of your throat open
  16. don't move shoulders while singing
  17. if shoulders go up and down while singing, put arms above head and slowly bring them down
  18. try breathing through your diaphragm
  19. during spare time, try memorizing the music
