It might be easiest to first write your comparison as a fraction..55/100, 13/39, etc. Then you put you denominator (bottom number) on the outside of a division problem and it will give you the decimal. 55 divided by 100 13 divided by 39 2.5 divided by 10, etc. Good luck!

Factors are numbers that you can multiply together to get the number. for example, 1 and 68, 2 and 34, etc. All of these numbers are factors of 68.

I think Jin meant 3/4. Another simple way to figure this out if you have two points...from the first point (the one to the left), count either up or down to the second point. This is rise. Then count back or forth between the two points. This is run. This will also give you th...

I am unclear what the 42 ft. represents. Is it radius, diameter, circumference?? Regardless, you need to take the radius (the distance to the center of the circle) and square it (or times it by itself). Take this number and multiply by 22, then divide by 7. 22/7 is just anothe...

Correct. Closed would be < or > with a line beneath the sign.

An open circle means greater or less than. The circled number is not included as an answer. A closed one is greater than or equal to or less than or equal to.

Math
First, subtract 4 from both sides (which you said above) then you have (3/5)a=1. Next, to get the a by itself, multiply both sides by the recripocal of 3/5. That leaves the variable by itself and gives you the answer. Be sure to simplify!

I did this by trial and error. There might be an easir way, but I don't know what it is. I tried spitting it in half, but 14% of 3000 is 420 and 13% of 3000 is 390 but the total is too low. So I tried 4000 at 14% and 2000 at 13%. That happens to work. Calculate it to be su...

math
To find the reciprocal, just flip the fraction upside down. For example, the reciprocal of 2/3 is 3/2.
