you need 2 formulas to do this volumeof cylinder: pi*r^2*h volume of sphere: 4/3 * Pi * r^3 you wanna find out the cylinder's height since you have the diameter already. plug in; if height is equal to diameter then radius is half the height, therefore solve in terms of hei...

You want to cancel one variable Let's cancel the x's. 8 and 3 have a LCM, which is 24 3(8x + 9y= -19)= 24x + 27y= -57 8(-3x + 7y= -24)= -24x + 56y = -192 ------------------------------------- 0 + 83y= -249 83y= -249 y= -3 Plug into the first equation to figure out what...

Thank you SO much sir. I feel a lot better knowing that I did this right

Find the derivative of sin(2x + 3y)= 3xy + 5y-2. I have this so far 1) cos(2x+3y) * d/dx (2x+3y)= 3xy' + 3y + 5y' 2) cos (2x+3y) * [2 + 3y']= 3xy' + 3y + 5y' 3) 3y' cos (2x+3y) + 2cos(2x+3y)= 3xy' + 3y + 5y' 4) 3xy' + 5y' - (3y(cos(3x+3y...

range= absolute value of highest-lowest values highest= 2.6 degrees lowest= -2.8 degrees range= |2.6- (-2.8)| range= |2.6 + 2.8| range= |5.4| range= 5.4 degrees celsius

Calculus Derivative
I'm still not quite sure how that works out, if you can explain it please? Isn't the derivative of v dv/dt and the derivative of m (since it's a constant) 0?
