I get 34... 20 liked pepperoni only, 26 like banana peppers only. I got these numbers by subtracting the 5 that liked both I have a total of 51 students that means there were 14 others that liked neither. I added the 14 that liked neither with the 20 that liked pepperoni only....

This sounds like a right triangle c^2 = a^2 + b^2 You have the two sides and are missing the hypotenuse which is the shortest length between two points. c^2 = 4^2 + 7^2 You square each number add them and then take the square root to find c.

You are welcome.

Percent increase can be tricky. find 16,200 - 14,500 that gives you the increase. to find % increase. divide that answer by the original amount which is $14,500. you will get at decimal. Move the decimal to the right 2 places and add the % sign.
math
.26 (x) = 350 if you use algebra?? divide both sides by .26 If you don't use algebra, I can show you another way.
