Confuses how my teacher got this?
The question says "Given that cos(theta)=(-7/25) and sin(theta)>0, calculate the exact values of tan(theta) and csc(theta). We start out by drawing a triangle. 25 is on the side of the hypotenuse and -7 is on the adjacent side, because cos is adjacent over hypotenuse. ...

My teacher asked for the EXACT VALUES of sin(pi/6) cos(pi/4) csc(pi/3) I have to figure it out without a calculator? Also, if I was to do with it with a calculator, would csc be typed as 1/sin?
Pre-calc PLEASE HELP!
Could you tell me why you squared those numbers? Is there a formula? If I was doing sin instead, would 1^2 +y^2=√6^2 be in a different order? Also how did you get the 5? Isn't the square of 6 to the second power just 6?
Pre-calc PLEASE HELP!
Calculate the exact values of the cot(theta) and sin(theta) for the acute angle theta if sec(theta)= the square root of 6. Thank you so much!
Math
If I was converting radians to degrees would it be degrees x pi/180? Convert to radians: 180 degrees. So would the answer be 144pi/180? Which is 2.513?
Math
Convert to degrees: (5pi/8) How would I do this?
