he distance between 2 points (x1,Y1) and (x2,y2) is given by d = square root (x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2 a - pick 2 arbitrary points in 3 dimensions, (x1, y1, and Z1) and (x2,y2,z2) and plot these points. Not that there are 90 degrees between the xy, xz, and yz axes. b- using your s...

Calculus (Check)
This seems to easy. Check please. Find. Lim (x^2)-4 x->2 e I substitute in 2 (2^2)-4 e gives me 4-4 e So my answer is e^0 or 1.

Calculus with Analytical geometry
I'm stumped on this one. lim |x-1|sin(1/x-1) x->1

Calculus
Thank you, I see where I made my error now. X^2 over x^2 becomes 1. I cancelled them out.

Check my work please? Determine if f(x)= (x^2-3x+2)/(1+x^2) has a horizontal asymptotes. If so, give the equation. So I took x^2 and divided everything by it. (x^2/x^2)-(3x/x^2)+(2/x^2) / (1/x^2)+(x^2/x^2) Cancelled out some x's and have -(3/x)+(2/x^2) / (1/x^2) Now as x a...

Find the distance along an arc on the surface of the earth that subtends a central angle of 1 minute. (1 minute = 1/60 degree) This is a nautical mile. Note that the radius of the Earth is 3960 miles and there are 1760 yards in a mile. Express your answer in both miles and yards.

Ammonia is composed of H and N in a ratio of 9.33g N to 2.00g H. If 4.56g N combine completely with H to form ammonia, how many grams of ammonia would be formed? How do you calculate this?
