Give the equation of a line that is perpendicular to the graph of each equation. I do not understand. y=12 Would I just write the opposite? y = -12

I would say that the lines are NOT parallel and are perpendicular. The y intercept for the first equation is 0, -5 and the second is 0 + 5

Are the lines parallel and how did I come to this conclusion? y + x = -5 and y - x = -5 first I it so y is by itself y = -x -5 second equation = y = x +5 Would the answer be yes? y= -5 and y = 5? Not sure I really understand thx.

I am not sure I understand especially the part where it says "the value". If the surface area of a sphere decreases, will the value of the volume remain the same? If we decrease the radius than we should have a different volume - right?
